Inappropriate Patient Access Custom Report shows records on all users who inappropriately access patient’s information. In this case, “inappropriate access”, is any access of a chart by a user when the patient has not been seen by a provider in the same specialty within the last 18 months. The report is grouped by user, patient, and then each action taken on that patient. Username, the user’s specialty, patient MRN, time of access and duration on patient account are all shown on the report.
